Important Dates<\/h4><\/div>

1. Law 2381 of 2024, Pension Reform: (Suspended by the Constitutional Court).<\/strong>

This law brings about the following change:

Women with less than 750 weeks of contributions and men with less than 900 weeks of contributions will contribute the first 2.3 SMMLV to Colpensiones, and persons earning more than 2.3 SMMLV will contribute the excess to the ACCAI to which they are affiliated.

Transition System:<\/strong>
Women with more than 750 weeks of contributions and men with more than 900 weeks of contributions will continue under the pension system of Law 100 of 1993.

3. Julio 15 de 2026:<\/strong> Law 2101 of 2021, Reduction of working hours by 2 hours per week, leaving the working week at 42 hours from that date onwards.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Termination of Contracts without Just Cause, generates an Indemnity payment.<\/h4><\/div>

For employees earning up to 10 minimum monthly salaries in force, 30 days of salary must be paid for the first year of work and 20 days for each subsequent year or in proportion to the time worked.
 
For employees earning more than 10 minimum monthly salaries in force, the following must be paid: 20 days of salary for the first year of work and 15 days for each subsequent year or proportional to the time worked.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
